About the designer

Hello!

Firstly, thank you for visiting my website, it’s great to have you! My name is Ben and I am a London based designer, artist and general all round creative type. I have a BSc in Product Design but I also have a history of sculpture and fine art. When I’m not designing I enjoy photography and videography. My designs generally favour simple shapes combined in interesting ways. I’m really excited to share them with you!

I finished my degree in 2013 and actually thought I might be finished with design so ended up working in a school teaching 5 year olds (a slight departure but an interesting and worthwhile one nevertheless). Fast forward to 2020 and, having a lot more time at home to experiment, I reignited the creative spark inside me and found a new passion through creating geometric artwork. I’ve always had an interest in maths & science and combining that structured and methodical mindset with the creativity that’s involved in designing these pieces has given me a real sense of purpose and enjoyment! I’m not entirely sure what I hope to accomplish with this project but I thought it would be fun to collect my designs in one place and see where it takes me! I’m hoping to expand the variety of products I can offer in the future, potentially to make use of my sculptural background to include some handcrafted pieces. Hope to have you along for the ride!
