“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”

Behaving sustainably is a key part of all our lives and the decisions we make. That’s why I strive to create products that are as low impact as possible.

Sustainably sourced paper

Paper that grows on trees

FSC-certified forests are managed with consideration for people, wildlife and the environment. They are independently audited to ensure they meet the FSC Principles and Criteria for Forest Management.

I work with a drop-shipper that uses FSC-approved paper stocks and packaging wherever practically possible. 100% of all packaging used in their facilities is FSC accredited.

Where they are unable to use FSC accredited print stocks, pulp is sourced from sustainably managed forests. Sustainably-managed forests meet the needs of wildlife while supporting livelihoods and providing many other ecosystem services, such as carbon storage and flood risk mitigation.

Eco-friendly water based inks

Inks that won’t stain the planet

All my art prints and cards are printed using neo pigment, water-based inks. These inks are 100% non-hazardous, toxin-free and vegan friendly. They meet the strictest industry standards as defined by Oeko-Tex 100 safety applications for infant wear, Global Organic Textiles (GTOTS-3V), Residues Standard List (RSL) and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists.

Selective in who I work with

Minimising our environmental impact matters to me, so I want to make sure the people I work with care just as much

I’m not the only one involved in the process of getting my prints to you. I want to make sure that our environmental impact is minimised at every step of the process, that’s why I choose carefully who I print my products with.

Orders printed locally

From me to your door in the shortest way possible

According to the International Transport Forum, international trade-related freight transport is responsible for 7% of all carbon emissions globally. I work with an online drop-shipper who run an international network of print labs meaning your print is manufactured closer to you and therefore has much shorter to travel, significantly reducing carbon emissions.

Going beyond the environment

Giving everyone a fair deal

I’m keen for the companies I work with to not only be environmentally conscious but socially conscious too. The drop-shipper I use screen their suppliers for compliance with both fair labour and sustainability standards. They look to partner where possible with suppliers who are ISO 14001, ISO 24000 or ISO 26000 compliant and require their partners to adhere to anti child labour and anti forced labour regulations, as well as providing traceability for all core raw materials.

They also actively seek to work with printing labs who use renewable energy over standard grid electricity.
